The Relationship of Waist Circumference and Waist-to-Hip Ratio with Risk of Cardiovascular Disease in Indonesia

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the non-communicable diseases which mayor leading cause death in world. One modifiable factors cardiovascular central obesity. Assessment obesity status was carried out by measuring waist circumference (WC) and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR). This study aimed to determine relationship between WC WHR with risk disease. an observational a cross-sectional design. There were 106 respondents selected using convenience sampling technique. In this study, calculated Jakarta Score. The Spearman Rho’s used as bivariate analysis for study. findings showed that indicates significant moderate correlation (p <0.001 r =0.467). Meanwhile, there (p<0.001 =0.385). Nurse may use result evidence develop preventive program.
